The iLab at the University of Virginia is an entrepreneurial initiative that fosters cross-collaboration throughout the university, serving as a nexus for the school’s entrepreneurship and innovation education. The i.Lab provides coaching, courses, and venture incubation to students, faculty, and community members who are working to innovate the future.
10/HALF created the logo, environmental graphics, and supporting collateral for the i.Lab. Our stylistic touch-point was folded paper—the innovator’s work to reimagine form—which is woven throughout the entire graphic identity. We also assisted with environmental graphics: a panel (“modesty panel”) in the iLab atrium’s features a typographic mural that morphs between “IMAGINATION” and “INNOVATION.”
